Summer is almost over and the new school year is about to begin. There are a lot of preparations before classes start, we buy new sets of school supplies, new sets of uniform, new sets of shoes and clothes to wear – well this makes more exciting. Just one of the things we do to make good impressions. We are so hooked to the saying, ‘First Impression Lasts’, but how do we really do that? What are the things we need to consider to make that first day of school memorable? We’ll talk about it in a while.
Why are we always want to have the first good impression? Just because people will judge the way we move, the way we talk, our looks, to the way we dress up. Since you are in school most of your days in a week, you want to make sure that you give damn good impressions to your teachers, classmates, and schoolmates. Is good impression only be based on physical looks? Of course not, our attitude will always be judged first, and if we look good and presentable, that’s a bonus. Congrats to our fashion sense!
Let’s talk about the things to look presentable at school and make that first day memorable:
- Be simple. You don’t need to overdress. Remember everything that is too much is not good.
- Choose clothes according to the weather. In our country, Philippines, classes start in June and it is the rainy season, so pick warm clothes. You could have knitted tops. For women, knitted dress. For men, polo shirts.
- If you don’t have knitted garments, you can bring your favorite cloak. Did you know that you can use it either warm or cold season? Yes, wrap yourself if you’re feeling cold, or cover yourself if you want to hide from the heat of the sun. Amazing right? Coz’ I always do that. Hehe
- Don’t let rain showers ruin your day. Have good sets of shoes, waterproof could be. You can have boots, like Chelsea, Chukka, or Lace-up.
